One end connects to paintball CO2 tank, other end takes the place of a 12-gram CO2 cartridge inside the grip of the gun. Inset shows the adapter hooked up to the gun. To install this unit, you must modify the magazine by cutting a small slot in the cover plate. This does not prevent you from going back to 12-gram CO2 cartridges if you decide to use them.
